The power of the shogun has been lost, causing chaos in the land as feuding feudal rulers vie for his position. The Shogun still has an advantage: You! You are the leader of a prestigious ninja clan. It’s your job to unite Japan and rally your followers!
You’ll be their fearless leader and will need to teach your fellow ninjas the techniques of modern 16th century warfare, including the use of matchlock guns. To create an army worthy of a shogun, assign them to cavalry, infantry, and other units.
War is expensive in many ways. Your followers can raise funds between battles by selling food, handicrafts and other goods to passers-by.
Your ninjas will be equipped with the best gear, training, skills, and equipment to win the war for unification. You might even get to meet some of the greatest generals of that era along the way.
